Three days he had been in this city, three whole days. And not once had Jasten managed to gain the courage he needed to travel to the Titans Tower, in the middle of Seagal Bay. It was the only reason why he had even bothered to come to Jump City, and yet, the young man was having the hardest time approaching the Titans with his request. He had no idea why, especially considering Jasten believed himself to be nearly fearless. And yet, no amount of force could get him to fly over to the island. Close to it, sure, like the last time he tried. But completely over to it? No way.
He was getting frustrated with himself over it, extremely frustrated. Never before had he been so nervous over something... and he had had plenty of things to be nervous about. Being outnumbered by gangers in Oakland.. nearly getting pushed into that power plant back east... those were things one was supposed to freak over. Not a stupid tower filled with teenagers. Sure, super powered teenagers, but Jast was one too, was he not? Exactly. There should be no problem.
But there was, damn it all.
Eventually, however, Jasten decided that he needed to meet the Titans, and fulfill his father's wishes. But unable to follow through with actually going to them, perhaps he could bring them to him. And he knew just the way. Heading into the most crime filled areas in the city would generally be considered stupid, but it would suit his purposes well. It would be easy to fly around the crime-filled neighborhoods, beat down a few hoodlums here and there, and start spreading his name throughout them. Sooner or later, if the Titans caught word of another hero, delivering well-deserved justice in the area, than they'd be drawn to him. And from there, it would only be a matter of time before they confronted him, for better or worse.
Yes.... this would be so easy.

Four Days Later:
The hunting had gone well, to say the least. Though downtown Jump City looked just as crime-filled as ever, his name was starting to circulate amongst the lower-classes. In the four days since he had labeled downtown as his hunting grounds, Jasten had managed to end a number of would-be muggers' and rapists' careers. Sure, the rapists had been dealt with using extreme violence, but the muggers... Jasten had let go either with a major beating, or in the back of a patrol car. There were just enough lowlifes being taken down by him, that Jasten was sure the Teen Titans would notice.
After all, any group of superheroes who notices a small drop in crime, no matter how ridiculously small, is going to begin to investigate. And after dropping the name 'Inquisitor' to every witness he could physically manage to, it was only a matter of time before the objects of his desire began to start looking for him, right?
.....Right?
Maybe.
All he knew at this point was that this was the forth day he had returned to his perch atop the highest bloody building he could find, and he still hadn't even sensed the Titans in the area. And the waiting... well, waiting was getting boring. But then again, perhaps this was a test. He'd heard all about these Titans, and though he doubted most of what he'd heard, perhaps the rumor that they test your patience before admitting you was true. If that was the case, Jasten would embrace it. At least it would mean his waiting was not in vain.
