Just below the top level, directly under the common room, and above the training room, pool and locker rooms, the crime lab is where any important items (that aren't trashed in a fight) are brought to be studied, analyzed cataloged and lastly stored temporarily across the hall in the temporary storage area, until no longer needed and moved to the archives in the basement.
