Flashes, images... This place had something to do with this Will person, and whatever reason he brought these confusing images into her mind. It would be a most appropriate place for their next encounter. She could hardly wait to see how far she could push him before he snapped, whether it was his self-control or his sanity fragmenting. In either case, she would have the pleasure of seeing him fall from grace. Of course, in a neighborhood this populated, it wasn't surprising that her black and red uniform attracted attention. All the better, since it put more pressure on the boy's mind. He would come here, and when he did, she would have a message for him.
Dearest Blaze,
Here, at the site of your greatest failure, and most tragic mistake, I hope you'll come to understand how truly fragile a mind can be. Give it too much pressure, and it will snap like a twig. What happened when your mind snapped?
Virage
The note was stuck in the door of the abandoned house where the library records said that he had once lived. His memories of this place had been particularly strong and numerous, as she'd ascertained when they first met, but they were also probably still hidden from his conscious mind. Perhaps his sub-conscious was trying to protect him from the horrors he could find there? Even now, the psychic imprints on the building were very dark and macabre. The wood was still stained darker than the surrounding area, and she could guess by the aura around it that it was blood that had stained it.
Taking a last look, she left the neighborhood, erasing the recent memories of anyone who had seen her. He would have no clues, other than the one that she had written into her note. From his memories, there was an alleyway where he had nearly killed that cute little girlfriend of his when his mind was still broken.
