Tim smiled at her and then he enjoyed the second kiss even more than the first, so when they broke away again he chuckled softly and nodded; "Hmm, me too, I really like this..." he then turned his head back and looked to the waffle iron and laughed; "I think your right, I'll go and get them you go and sit..." Tim gave her a quickie peck on the cheek before he went and saved the first batch of waffles from burning and set them on a plate, with a fork, then grabbed the syrup and butter and walked over to her and offered them to her; "Here, if you want I can get you something to drink." he said as he sat next to her and smiled at her, happy to be here and able to help her...
She was so pretty, and she needed him, so of course as a guy he felt good for being needed by a pretty girl in need, and he could honestly say he did like her, a lot, his admission of a crush the total truth, and now that it was out in the open, he felt less silly about it all.

The teen sat, giggling brightly, She liked how Tim took care of her, and she knew how she was going to return the favor. She watched him work, and looked to her cast "Orange juice please" she called. He was pampering her, and it felt nice really.. To know that she was cared for, without her having to strip down... and rub her half naked self on him for it.
She looked to the area where she was. Wondering how things were going to be from now on. Were they going out? was this a secret? She didn't now..... Not one bit...
"Okay, just a min." Tim set the plat down and nodded as he turned to get some glasses and start the next batch of waffles up.
Once he was back he sat down next to her and smiled sheepishly before he cleared his throat and coughed, then at last spoke what was now on his mind; "Uhh, so... At this point I'm guessing we um, well, we figure out who tells Will that we're, um dating?"
Was that the right word? Where they dating? Or where they just a couple now? He wished he knew more, but the subject of girls, while of interest to him, like most any other red blooded boy of 17, was his weakest, he knew less about girls than he did about the average decay rate of Plutonium, which was.... Anyway, he was clueless, and that was annoying, but then he looked at her and saw the light in her eyes, a light that had been hidden and only peeked out when she interacted with Ruby, and when he realized that, it made him smile too...
"You really do have such a great smile Livvy, I like it when you smile. It like... Lights up the room or something." He smiled at her and blushed, knowing he sounded a tad corny, but not totally caring, since there was a quality about her smile that seemed warm and bright.

A big smile crossed her face. She was truly flattered, honored even. He liked her, for who she was... not what he saw, not a nice but and 'barely there' boobs. (somehow that was a turn on for guys apparently only the truly gross ones liked 'em young) She tilted her head to the side, "oh, yeah... that" she said. Will would well and truly flip out. He wouldn't ever just accept it, but would question every single aspect to make sure she was ok... And with Ruby too- forget it.
Pushing her hair back, she grinned. "Thanks, and so do you, and your eyes, forget it" she blushed. "I don't know why you hide behind your mask all the time..."She rested her casted hand on his shoulder. "And I don't really know where i'd be without you already...."
Tim blushed and smiled a tad brighter at her; "Thanks." He muttered as he complemented him, then agreed on his comment about Will...
Raising his hand up to hers, he laughed and then brought it up so that he could kiss her knuckles, since her wrist and most of her hand was covered up; *Muah!* "Don't worry too much about Will, he just wants you taken care of, and I plan on doing my best in that area." he smiled at her, as he got lost in her eyes and just zoned out thinking about how pretty her icy blue eyes where...
It must have been kind of a switch for her, to be liked and enjoyed for something other than her body, to be valued as a person, rather than a piece of meat for personal gratafacation...

Olivia seemed to have this big, stupid smile plastered onto her face whenever she was around this guy. Her blush seemed to stay, as well, probably making her look moderately stupid. He kissed her cast, which she would have for another ten to twelve weeks. Her sling however, was another five to six weeks. She could handle that. A little over a month, and she wouldn’t be interrupted by Ruby’s birthday, or even her own birthday, but the cast, She’d have for a while. Resting her head on his shoulder, she took a bite of the waffle, and grinned. “Yum!” she said, this was honestly the best waffle she’d ever had. She ate about half of it, before ruby started to call. “Mama!”
Olivia rolled her eyes, “I’ll be right back, she stood, taking a sip of her juice, then placed everything down, to go get the baby.
“Hey sunshine” Olivia said, coming down the stairs as Ruby rubbed her eyes tiredly She had finally lifted her head from Olivias good shoulder. She saw Tim, and smiled. “Dada” she cooed.
"Thanks, I can't cook too much, but I can by god make waffles."
Tim couldn't stop smiling, and he couldn't stop holding her, it was like something magnetic now, as if his was drawn to her by some force of nature, as if he couldn't loose contact with her for fear of dying or something irrational like that...
When she left Tim felt himself ponder about how this would affect him, how it would affect Will, and of course Olivia, and when he weighed everything out, he could only conclude that if they could get past the initial shock and awe of everything, and really worked at this, it would be for the good of both of them, and in the end, even Will.
When Olivia came back with Ruby, He smiled at them and blinked some and laughed at Ruby's greeting, his eyes dancing somewhat at that thought. "Hmm, maybe Ruby, maybe one day..." That gave him some pause, this was not just some little pubescent crush or a movie, this was real, and very grown up, mature, and the situation needed a level head, since he was attaching himself to a young girl, a young mother, and her little girl, he realized suddenly that this would be MUCH harder than a semi normal relationship would be, as if he could or would ever have a "normal" relationship, being who he was and all.
"Hmm... This is going to be interesting isn't it?" he asked softly as he looked away in thought before he looked back to the two blonds, and smiled, his eyes slightly closed in a relaxed and thoughtful state, his mind mulling over everything about this and how it should either work out great, or blow up in their faces...

Feeding Ruby a little bit of Waffle, she smiled. "You know who that is poptart, Its Tim, not daddy..." she smiled to Rue. She looked down to her baby, then to Tim. She didn't want to be mean, but. "I'm guessing this goes without saying, but Ruby comes first... " she fixed Ruby's hair as she nommed the waffle. Olivia kept Rue in her lap, alternating peices of waffle, one for Ruby, One for Olivia....
Wiping Ruby's mouth, she smiled. "But, other then that- I forgot what I was going to say, so.... yeah" she blushed, placing Ruby down on the ground, and popping the TV on.
Tim smiled and nodded at her in understanding; "I wouldn't want it any other way, I mean, I would never ask you to put me before her, for any reason." he smiled as they ate, watching them interact, and seeing how totally Olivia loved Ruby, and how devoted Ruby was to her mother, there being an almost tangible sense of the bond they had between them. He observed them a bit more as he chewed the last of his own waffle, and once it was gone, he glanced at the clock on the wall, then he stood with his plate and grinned at Olivia; "Hey, I'm going to get some more, want any? I was starving, and I'm still plenty hungry, so it’s no bother." he stood with his plate in hand and smiled to her, waiting for a request, and started to think about how exactly this relationship would work...
Tim had no illusions about himself, he wasn't the best boy friend materiel, he had his own demons and problems to deal with, and add in the fact he was a kind of split personality, the other half of which was a super hero, and this could get complicated fast, still, he had to remind himself that, Olivia wasn't some pale frail nothing, and that one of the biggest things that had attracted him to her, was that she was stronger than she looked, and she was, at heart, a fighter, although it was clear to him that she had been nearing her limits when Will had found her, and now, if it hadn’t been for the fortuitous reunion between Will and Liv, she now would likely be so far buried, as to have lost what little hope she had when the Titans had taken her into their care.
Even as he watched Ruby nom the last of her waffle and start to sway and hum along with the TV show, Tim noted how calmly and easily the tiny tot had called him “dada” and while there was that obvious male personality trait that railed against that, straining to yell out “Kid I’m NOT your dad!” it was somehow drowned out by another more caring part of him that smiled and blushed, and it had been that part that had spoken; “Hmm, maybe Ruby, maybe one day...” and it seemed to him that he really had meant it, and wasn’t just trying to sooth or placate Ruby or Olivia, and that made him smile just a little bit more as he looked back to Olivia, and for a moment, just got lost in how pretty she was, and how much better she seemed now that someone had given her some value that was derived from something other than her physical worth, which he was pretty sure, was linked to her current state of injury…
And it seemed to him that her injuries, after a fashion, made her even more beautiful to him, in some kind of way that spoke to that little knight in shining armor hidden inside, but it also sparked that curious part of him, spurring him into another train of thought, once that reminded him of his suspicions that her boss Nick wasn’t quite the worried innocent employer he had portrayed himself to be, and maybe it was that almost cynical overly educated, highly trained tactician of a superhero personality he had that was thinking that way, but then some of the bruises she had gotten from that fall, didn’t look right, after all, her neck and face didn’t seem to have taken the brunt of the fall, and yet, they where lightly bruised… In a particular way he had seen before, far too many times, both back in Gotham, and here in Jump, and if his guess was right, then Nick had grabbed Olivia by the neck, before she had fallen, and Tim was willing to bet that his hands had left her neck when she had fallen down the stairs…
That thought made him a bit mad, but it passed as he realized that Olivia was speaking to him. Hmm, seemed he had another one of those moments where he had thought out a whole hours worth of things in a few short seconds, he’d been doing that a lot lately, since his accident with that archer girl in fact.
Snapping back to the hear and now Tim looked down at Olivia and smiled, tilting his head as he spoke; "Oh sorry I totally zoned out for a second there, you where saying?”

Olivia shifted in her seat, and pat Ruby's head. She watched Tim go, and lifted her cup, taking a sip. "more juice please" she smiled, shaking the now empty glass. A bright smile was on her face again. Tim made her some weird form of happy, not like drugs happy, but a genuine happy, a fufillment of sorts. He was quite a guy, something she wasn't used to... It was nice.
Ruby watched the two interact, and sucked on her fingers."Tee?" she called, trying to get Tim's attention. She started to crawl after him, wanting to play with him. She hadn't played with him yet, and she was curious. What type of player was he?
Olivia smiled to Tim. "She wants you" She giggled, getting up, and tugging up her sweats. The blond walked twords the laundry room, knowing thats what needed to be done. Pulling out the clothes from the drier was easy, but navigating the halls, with the basket. That was hard. "Owowowowow" Olivia muttered under her breath, trying to get to the couch to fold the clothes.

Tim smiled and took her glass nodding; "Okay, more juice." then he went into the kitchen.
When he heard Ruby calling out, he poked his head around the corner and smiled as she crawled towards him, then he nodded at Olivia's urging and explanation. "Oh really now? C'mer' Ruby, I'm cooking up some waffles, see?" carrying the tot in the crook of one arm, he pointed out the waffle iron and the jug of orange juice, before he poured Olivia a fresh glass, then showed Ruby the waffle batter as he poured it on the iron, and then closed it. "See? Soon we'll have more waffles for breakfast." he smiled at her and gave her a kiss as he carried her and the glass of juice back to the living room, and set them both down, then looked up and saw Olivia gingerly moving down the somewhat narrow hallway with a laundry basket full of clothing, a wince on her face and soft little "ow's" sounding from her lips.
He had to do something about that and quick. "Oh Liv, here let me help!" he said as he moved towards her and offered his hands to the basket as she moved from the hall into the main part of the living room, near the TV.
He looked to her, a trace of worry on his face, as well as a slightly eager smile, his hands hovering near hers, ready to take the basket from her, but as he looked into her face and eyes, he felt something else, a kind of spark or pull that locked him into place as if my some magic force...

Olivia took a step back, still in an awkward amount of pain before it became unbearable. She looked him over. He looked almost too good standing there with Ruby in his arms like that. She wiped the thought from her mind quickly. Men didn't become fathers of their girlfriends kids. It was a known fact. She just smiled to him, masking the hurt, and looked into his eyes. "I'm fine Tim, I swear" she then waited for him to move out of the way, just so she could get past him and start on her chores. "Ruby did you have fun making waffles?" Olivia beamed to the baby, Ruby clapped. "Ugh-- your too cute Ruby Tuesday" she smiled.
Olivia wanted what was best for her little girl. She had worked so hard for Ruby, and had the best intentions. She was her little girl... her only one.
Tim smiled at her and shook his head; "It's really not a big deal, cause I have big muscles, see?" he smiled at her and raised an arm, flexing a bit, trying to get her to smile or laugh, as well as give the basket up to him.
Looking to Ruby, Tim laughed and gave the tot a kiss on the cheek, and then rested a hand over Olivia's and spoke softly to her, his eyes deep and understanding; "It's really okay, Olivia, don't hurt yourself more doing this... Please?"
He didn't what her to hurt herself, or to suffer any more than she had, because that made him feel bad, and it was something that he didn't like to feel attached to her in his mind...

"No, no" Olivia sighed,Taking another step back, and looked him over. She stood, frozen not sure if she should just go with it or not. It was an interesting internal struggle, She was naturally so independent, and now, when she needed help, wasn't sure if she could take it or not. She needed to, but knew she'd feel incapable of doing the chores herself, She needed to learn how to accept help, "I'm good" she stated, waiting for him to move out of her way.
She stood there for a moment, and sighed deeply. "Actually.." she said, pouting, broken. "Can you?" she moved the basket of clothing out twords him in an attempt to let him take it. She felt, strange inside. She had no clue what to call it. Humility towards herself?
Slowly, and gently, Tim smiled at her and took the basket from her, before he reached up and brushed a stray lock of her longish blond hair from her face and looked into her eyes, and whispering; "Thanks Livvy..." and then he turned and walked the basket over to the couch and set it down for her, knowing that while shaken, her pride was far from dead and gone.
"It's okay you know, for almost a week I was stuck in bed recovering from an explosion in the sewers... It wasn't fun needing Violet and Will to help me with just about everything, but as you can seem I survived it." he smiled big at her before he sat down on the floor next to Ruby, who had locked all her attention onto the TV, and was humming and sing-songing along with Ernie and friends...
"And do the duck! Rubber duck, duck rubber duck! Do the duck, rubber ducky rubber duck, do the duck, rubber duck rubber duck, do the duck duck duck rubber duck rubber duck!"
