{{{NOTE: This takes place only moments after Violet wakes up in Put the Fire out}}}
Robin gathered up the equipment Blaze had brought, the scanner and all the bits that went with it, and took them upstairs to the bedroom where Olivia and Ruby where staying.
After the scare with Violet, and needing Batman to intervene, with the way the tiny girl had been puking Robin was worried, after all, what better way to screw up an act of kindness for a friend of a friend then to get a kid sick and killed?
One he was at the door, he knocked gently. then gave it a light push, and poked his head in; "Hi, Uhh I need to give Ruby a quick check up, make sure she's okay."
After a moment he stepped in and left the door partially open, the case in one hand as he moved to the bed and then set it down there. "I think she should be okay since she seemed to get most of the chemical out of her system, but its a good idea to double check, since she's so much smaller than Violet, and while I doubt it was activated due to Ruby's lower internal body temperature, better safe than sorry right? Oh and Violet's doing much better now." He added to fill the small void of quiet.
He opened the case and pulled the scanner out, and turned it on, then waited for the okay to start reading Ruby's small system for trouble...

Olivia sat on the bed, cradling Ruby much like when Ruby was younger. She had fallen back to sleep with her bottle and even though Robin had said that she was to be kept awake until she was scanned, Olivia felt bad, since Ruby was sick. The blond just held her baby, watching her calm breathing, and perfect slumber.
"Hey" Olivia said. "She fell asleep with her bottle, but she seems not to be having any nightmares, is Violet Ok?" Olivia pet Ruby's head, watching Tim get the Machine set up. "I am causing too much trouble here, aren't I?"
Tim looked at Ruby and held a small smile in as he waved the scanner over her a few times before he stopped and nodded; "Hmm, well it seems she's okay, Ruby that is, Violet's still kinda out of it, I'm sure she feels like she's run a marathon rather then been knocked out for an hour." he then looked at her and laughed at her last comment; "Ha what? Wow you? Trouble? I was about to say that we're the ones causing trouble for you I mean, one of us gets attacked, that's par for the course, but you? This is called a safe house, and we manage to let your baby get poisoned... I wouldn't blame you if you slapped me for it."
He shook his head and then folded the device up and packed it away, before he got up and took a small vial out of the case then set it on the dresser; "Here's something to help her recover, it will counter anything from the chemical that's left, and repair any damage she might have, although based on the scan, she should be just fine... She's a tough little girl."
He turned and gave a smile to the young mother and her daughter, then let a sigh out; "Well, I hope that's all the super hero brand of excitement you get from us, I know that what's normal for us must seem like total craziness for most people."
Tim reached up and scratched the side of his face lightly as he looked at them, they where a picture of simple and pure love, a mother and daughter, who needed each other, and would be doomed without the other. In a way, Tim could understand that kind of relationship, although he would have to say that the context for himself was much more extreme and had more members involved...
"Is everything else okay? Are Vi and Will taking good care of you two?" He asked, wanting some excuse to stick around and talk to the pretty young mother, and give William and Violet a chance to be alone and adjust to interacting in the real world rather than in a dream...

Olivia shook her head quickly. "No no no, don't worry about it. Shes fine, and that's good. " Olivia stood, putting Ruby in her pack n play, and covered her with a blanket. "Poor girl" the blonde said before looking up to the super hero.
"Its ok, I guess, I feel like i'm intruding. I really wish I didn't feel so awkward" Olivia looked to the floor. "Its good, don't worry" The orphaned teen looked up to him, hurt in her eyes of all the past years. He was giving her a chance, and she was thankful. Thats the least she could say or do. "Hey, uh, thanks" she said, before going to her suitcase and moving it out of the way. She needed to tidy up slightly. She did not want to dwell on him giving her this major oppertunity.
Robin chuckled softly and shook his head; "Don't be sorry, please, you're a breath of fresh air, and I can't tell you how much it's helped Blaze... Uh, I mean Will... I can't tell you how much it's helped Will knowing that he can make good on his past... He's very protective of you and Ruby."
He slowly took his gloves off as he moved to the wall and leaned on it lightly, despite the fact that he felt like flopping down someplace and just zoning out, he kept his moments slow and easy, knowing from what Will and Vi had told him that she had dealt with some abuse and the last thing she needed was for her trust in Will to be betrayed in any way, since that would be both mean hearted and a good way to get Will's wrath brought down on yourself...
"Don't worry about anything, we're glad to help, I mean, most of the time it's saving the city or the world or something, and that kinda disconnects you from the people, so being able to help a single person like this... It's as good for us as it is you, so don't feel like you owe us a thing, you just keep taking care of Ruby and doing what you're doing, all we want is to help you succeed."
Okay that was a strange little speech... Was he channeling Will?
Shaking his head he laughed at himself then held he hands up and apologized "Sorry I'm not sure where that came from, it's not really my place, I'm sure Will's already told you that, likely more than once." He smiled up at her as he reached up to his mask and tugged at it, the put his glove back up and hit the secret contact points with his gloves, and pulled his mask off so she could see all of his face, his electric blue eyes included...
"I figure I do owe you at least one thing... I'm Tim, nice to formally meet you Olivia." he said softly as he extended his un-gloved hand, the other hand full of gloves and mask, his smile soft and kind as he looked her in the face.

Olivia smiled, swooning lightly as his mask was removed. Holy...wow he looked good. She blushed a little, then shook his hand. "Nice to formerly meet you too" She said, trying to stop the color from showing in her cheeks.
"Uh, do you mind if we take this out in the hall, I really wanna keep talking, and stuff, but I want Ruby to stay sleeping" she smiled brightly to him, and grabbed the baby monitor, and started for the door.
Tim was so cute, and so nice... there had to be a flaw, there just had to...
Tim smiled a little bigger when she shook his hand, and he nodded as she suggested moving into the hallway so as not to disturb Ruby, which Tim was thinking of doing himself, suggesting to move that is.
Man, she was very pretty, but with that tiny blush, she was simply stunning, and those eyes... He couldn't look for too long into her eyes when she looked up at him, they where too deep and bright, so much so they seemed to suck him in...
Which is why she was a stripper, or a dancer or whatever it was, she was cursed to work in a field of vice, due to where she had been born, and with what she had been born with, her genetics cursing her with a pretty face and unique blue eyes that drew attention to her like a neon sigh and...
Making sure his faced was turned, Tim grimaced and shook his head; it was as if Batman simply being in the same city was causing him to over analyze everything until it broke down into statistics and numbers, sociology theory and facts, even people, the training complete and total, a part of his being that he both blessed and cursed for being there.
"Hmm, sorry, I was about to say the same thing... After you." he smiled and swept his hand over to allow her to go first, then followed her out into the hallway, where he again leaned on the wall, more recovering from the stress rather than any real exertion.
"So anyway, since Violet is going to be recovering, and Will worrying over that, I guess I'll take a turn keeping you and Ruby company, rather than listening to them argue about how much rest it should take to recover, one thing they never seem to remember, is that as alike as they are, they are also so very different... Sorry I seem to have gotten some of Will's chattiness today, I'm talking your ear off when I just wanted to make sure you and Ruby where alright."
Tim again shook his head, a soft chuckle slipping out as he rubbed on his neck some and waited for her reply.

Olivia nodded, She kept her blush as he went on and on. “Don’t feel obligated, I mean, Most of the time I’m just doing housework, or playing with Ruby, and then at Night, we’re out because of work. I always keep the doors locked, so its not even a big deal if you guys are here.” She didn’t want to make him feel obligated to come, if all she was going to do was ignore him being there. When Violet was here, the two completely ignored each other, and Ruby seemed to question why Violet was even there. Olivia ran circles around Will when he was there, only sitting to fold the laundry, or after Ruby was put down for a nap.
Olivia was getting nervous around him, and felt the air become more and more chilly. It was all centralized around her, pushing up the sleeve to her cardigan, she looked down, spotting a rather large bruise taking over her arm, and pulled down the sleeve again. He didn’t want to see that. No one did, no one really cared about the girls. They were just empty shells afterall…
Tim shrugged; "It's no big deal I guess, but Will insisted, like I said, he's very protective of you..." He looked at her and almost half smiled as he paused and thought about that, then went on; "... You really are very important to him, I don't think any of us really understands that fully, maybe not even Will, but..." Tim paused again as he looked off, words coming to him slowly this time, but they seemed to be the right words, so he spoke them; "He lost everything, and I can understand that, I lost both of my parents, first my mom when I was young, then my dad a few years ago, Will lost everyone he cared about, his parents, his girlfriend, and you, and if given a chance, I would love to get back someone from my old life, even for just a day, so I won't begrudge the guy a chance to take care of you, and as my friend, I won't ignore his wishes to keep you taken care of."
He looked back up at her and grinned, his eyes tired but willing, and understanding as some talking could be heard downstairs between Will and Violet, the words muffled but even and calm, indicating that things where still fine down there, much as they where here, Ruby asleep, Olivia and himself in the hallway, talking softly, things in the house seemed okay right now, and boy, after the scare they had gone through, was he glad for it...

Olivia nodded, leaning on the door. "I understand... " she said softly, looking at the small clock on the wall. She didn't want to cut the conversation short, but she knew that she needed to start getting ready for work. Looking him over, she started to pout, this has been one of the more normal conversations shes had recently, and it felt nice, not to either be completely lost, or any other strong emotions. "Tim, I hate to cut you off, but I have to get ready for work" she frowned. "It was nice talking to you, later though, okay?" she smiled, walking in to the room.
Olivias workplace was buzzing with action that night, glass, plastic, and napkins covered the floor, and Olivia sighed, pulling back on a pair of skinny jeans. Luckily James, the bouncer had just pulled the last guy out, and the girls were all leaving. Looking at the clock, Olivia sighed. It was four AM, and she had a lot of work ahead of her. She checked on Ruby, who was asleep in her dressing room in the stroller as she should be. The blond pulled her cleaning tools out of the hidden closet and got to work, first sweeping up the floor, before Nick came out of his office, looking around as his little fireball washed the place top to bottom. Finally, an hour later, an exausted Olivia came down stairs, holding the dirty sheets from the private rooms upstairs. Nick had cut her off before she made it to the washing machine though. "hmm, My little fireball..." he commented, looking her up and down. "Too bad, you would have been free tonight, you didn't pull in enough money tonight... " he held up a rather large stack of bills. "This could be yours for a price. Olivia looked to the stack of $20's, $50's and a few stray $10's. The little blond gave a tired sigh. "anything Nick" she frowned, not even wanting to guess what crossed his mind. suddenly, there was a slap landed across her face. "You don't do that" he said, "Your always willing for me? got it?" he grabbed her neck, squeezing lightly, letting the pressure get harder and harder. He hadn't noticed her position, right in front of the stairs to the basement. Throwing her down, he sighed. "little bitch" .
Nick had called an ambulance after a half an hour of Olivia still being stuck down the steps, he left soon after she was picked up, playing the part of the concerned boss. When asked for a number to call, a sobbing Olivia gave them the number to the safe house. ruby, being handled by a kindly young nurse for the moment. The only thing left to do was hope someone was there.
Tim smiled and nodded to her; "No problem, I'm going to go check on the others, talk to you later."
He gave her a small wave as he walked back to the stairs and left her to get ready, a small smile on his face; she was really pretty nice it seemed...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tim had sent Will and Violet back to the Tower, since she was just about a zombie from the nightmares and the strange little adventure she and Will had been on, so he went out on a short patrol then went back to the safe house to double check it, when around six that morning, the phone rang, and since Olivia was still gone (or so it seemed) Tim was wondering who could be calling the house, since he had only just gotten off the COM-unit with Will.
So he picked it up and answered...
Barely three minuets later, he was in the small four door car kept in the garage, speeding for the hospital, wondering how Will would deal with Olivia being hurt.
Once there, he found Olivia and Ruby in the ER, a pair of nurses seeing to them, Olivia was a sling and had splints on her arm and leg, and a doctor was reading over some paperwork when he came up, but a nurse stopped him just outside the door to the room; "I'm sorry, but we cannot allow non-family members in here."
Tim blinked at her then looked to Olivia, who seemed in so much pain, and then a thought crossed and then his lips before he fully had it put together; "It's okay, I'm her Fiancé... Olivia?" he asked, suddenly realizing what he had just said, and hoping that this wouldn't blow up in his face...
"Your my Fiancé? I mean he is my Fiancé." Olivia whispered. her left arm, which had a purple cast on her wrist. She sighed, looking down to Ruby, who had picked out Olivia's cast color. The little blond raised her arms up and exclaimed "Dada!" girgleing and laughing for Tim, feeding into the whole situation. "Anything to get me out of here" Olivia nodded, looking over Tim. He seemed genuinely concerned, and was worried about her. She knew she was causing a fuss now.
"I promise you, if you get me out of here, i'll get out of your hair as soon a possible... I mean you were probably really busy and everything... Thank you" Olivia finally looked down to Ruby, who reached for Tim like she was reaching or Olivia. 'out please...'
Tim reached down to Ruby and lifted her up, and gave her a small hug, as the nurses left the room, he looked to Olivia and winked at her; "Don't sweat it at all, I'm more worried about how Will is going to react when he sees you, since he was about ready to throw a fit when I spoke to him on the way here..."
Tim held Ruby and rocked her some, before he smiled at her and chuckled; "You're a smart one huh Rue? Don't be in a rush, you're going to need time to heal up." he then set Ruby back down in Olivia's lap and shook his head sadly; "Man you're banged up, how did you manage to fall down the stairs?" he looked at the chart near the door, she had a broken wrist, and a cracked collarbone, as well as a mild ankle sprain, not too bad, but not all that good either, and it seemed that she would need some help around the house and with Ruby, so it looked like he and the others would be on a rotation again, this time to assist Olivia with some basic needs and functions as far as caring for Ruby and maybe even herself...
"I wasn't busy, in fact I had paused by the house to see if you wanted something picked up for breakfast, I had been out on an over night patrol and was going to grab some waffles, and I thought you might like some, but of course you weren't there, and then the call came in, so I drove out here to take care of you..." Tim smiled at her, and while he was far from fresh away, he wasn't tired either, so it was easy to give her a kinda and gentle smile as he sat down next to her and leaned in; "It's okay, your going to be taken care of Liv, I promise."
He would have left it at that had he not caught sight of the Doctor at the door, so he reached his hand out to hers and held it before leaning in and giving her a kiss on the cheek, before standing and talking to the doctor.
Once that was taken care of, he signed the two blonds out and got them into the small blue four-door and drove them back to the safe house...
Olivia had to keep from fainting as he kissed her, there was a spark when his lips touched her cheek. She blushed and just smiled as Ruby looked back and forth between the two waiting for more interaction. This was getting good
After a relitively quiet ride home, Olivia entered the house, Tim holding everything, Ruby's stroller, her bags and Ruby. "Tim, give me something, please" Holding out the purple casted arm, the blond went to take Ruby. "I can handle changing her, and getting her in bed. " The blond took the tot and balanced her on her arm, kicking off her shoes and going up the stairs slower then she normally would. Ruby was changed easily, and put into bed quickly as well... it was still hard, but she got it down.
Coming back down stairs, Olivia sighed. "done" she smiled proudly. She caught her own reflection, and then remembered. "Oh, I need to get changed" she reminded herself. She had a laundry basket of clean clothes so she walked over and found a basic tank top, and pyjama pants. She looked to the baby monitor after throwing the clothes on a chair, and sighed. Olivia couldn't go in there yet. She was still up, an she didn't want to be stuck with her all morning being cranky... She'd have to get changed down here. The blond then looked to her hand, attempting to unbutton her pants.
The task was near impossible. There was no prevail.She squrimed trying to use the slingged arm, to pop open the button. Damnit! this button wouldn't move... Olivia looked to her pants, as if they would fly off like magic. no luck
Tim had taken care to help get as much put up as quietly as he could Ruby being slightly fussy and bouncing back and forth between awake and asleep the whole way back to the house, but once she was in her bed, she began dozing, so Tim went to cleaning up the living room and was ready to head into the kitchen when he noted, with a glance down the hallway, that let him see Olivia sitting in the corner of the living room, struggling with her clothes...
"Olivia?" He asked softly as he walked up next to her and knelt down, so as to make himself seem less imposing; "Do um, do you want some help?" He said kindly, his head tilted slightly as he looked up at her with the barest of kindly smiles.
