{{{Violet and Blaze post first, after that try to keep in post order, starting with me}}}
It was a cool, breezy evening, a lazy, boring Thursday night was pending, the streets where slowly emptying of the late afternoon rush, stores, shops and other establishments turning on the blinking lights and glowing sighs that indicated that they where still open and ready for anything the members of Jump Society could throw at them...
And despite the current social and economic climate, the people of Jump where out, and while not in force, they where out in numbers that suggested that maybe things wouldn't get much worse, if given the chance to recover.
But what happened next wasn't thanks to any member of Jump City, and it wasn't going to be very helpful at all...
A loud crashing sound was what tipped off everyone that something was amiss, and for the few at ground zero, the sight was incredible, a whole section of the street was blown up and out, almost like a door forced off its hinges, and deep in the cavernous underground of Jump, hundreds of tiny dull white eyes glowed in the darkness...
For some of the unlucky few that saw this, it was the last thing they saw before being sent through oblivion into the afterlife by a shower of bright red laser bursts, the man sized commando bots leaping out onto the tarmac as the larger hulks and enforcer robots slowly hovered up and out of the hole in the street, then joined in the indiscriminate destruction that was unfolding in the street as wave after wave of Slade bots poured out into the street, backed by the bigger enforcers, and the massive hulk bots, each armed to the teeth with weapons, both cutting edge and primitive.

Robin sat in the common room at one of the stools in the kitchen area, a sandwich, soda and laptop set before him, as he absentmindedly punched away at the file he was updating for Darkbrand, and the new dossier he was building for Blaze, or William as his given name went, but Tim had to admit, Blaze had a ring to it, and even if it wasn't the most original name on earth, it wasn't one you where likely to forget either...
Suddenly the lights flashed red and a buzzer sounded, the master alarm sounding and the massive window slash big screen TV changed from its normal view to a map of the city, a JPD code at the bottom right told him that there was some problem that the police wanted help with.
Which was obvious when a bone chillingly calm and even voice sounded, a video picture linked to it opening up and showing a masked, one eyed man with a faint British accent...
"Hello Robin... It's been some time hasn't it? Did you miss me as much as I missed you?"
Robin grit his teeth and glared at the screen as he stood, his fists clenched as he hissed out; "Slade..."
