Last time on Titans Tempest...

Making sure she had on everything she needed, she fixed her hair, then pulled on her hood, her lips becoming redder as she followed Will out of the room. She palmed her communicator, and looked to the map. "Its so small!" she said in wonder, poking the green flashing dot. The profiles of the perps, police activity on it.

Tilting her head to the side, she read through all of the info. It was a simple bank robbery. straightforward as hell. Looking at the venue, he watched the building scan load. "Ok, there's three guys outside, and three inside. Ones working on the safe now." she explained. "Their all armed, and it looked like they're carrying big guns, compensating for something maybe? Either way, I can handle the ones inside, there are hostages, about nineteen of them. I can diffuse the three inside, if you guy null the big guns..."

Will dashed at top speed to his room, pulled his suit on, and then dashed back to Jetta's side in an instant, his COM-Unit going back to his thin black belt ; "Robin and Darkbrand are already on the way, they're going to beat us there, but Robin said to meet him on the rooftops across the street... Follow me!"

And with that Will dashed out the door and took a running leap at coast from the bluffs, jets of hot blue fire blasting from his hands for that extra boost as he sailed through the air, borrowing a trick from Darkbrand, and using his own powers to cross the bay in a few adrenalin filled moments...

Running up a fire escape as quietly as his speed allowed, Blaze at last got to the roof, all of five minuets after the alarm had interrupted him and Jetta in the Hot tub, however what exactly they where doing there was somewhat lost on him, for the moment at least, since he could see Robin and Darkbrand looking across the street at the bank, who's doors where closed and barricaded with chairs and heavy oak tables.

"Whats the plan?" the tall dark headed hero asked the undisputed leader of the Teen Titans, who's long black cape was drawn up around his shoulders as he scowled down at the bank, his communicator in hand, with a picture of the Bank on it's screen...

After a moment of listening, Blaze hooked his thumb over at Jetta and nodded; "She thinks that she can take the goonies inside if I can stop the guns, but Darkbrand's better at that then me, so if she can null the guns, I'll bust the door open for you and her," he pointed to Robin and then back at Jetta, "And we can end this with some shock and awe."

Blaze looked to his teammates for their reactions...

Violet nodded once at the communicator screen, which she was sharing with their fearless leader. Her eyes were examining the bank, judging the size and the likeliest places for the robbers to run if they found out that the Titans had arrived. If one ran out of the range of her no-flame zone when she wasn't expecting it, they could fire their weapon before she could react. After a few moments of contemplation, her eyes began to glow lavender as the oppressive blanket spread to cover the bank. They weren't particularly well spread-out, so it wasn't much of a challenge. She just had to make sure that she knew where all of them were.

"Go for it, guys," she said, flipping open her communicator.

She knew she had to be mobile, and if her communication with her team relied on her proximity to Robin, there could be problems if something unexpected happened. She could feel Blaze coming closer, or rather she could feel his inner flame coming closer. The link had grown stronger since that day when they'd shared dreams, but for some reason, Will didn't feel as open as he usually did. She pushed it from her mind, knowing that she needed to focus on the task at hand before she sorted out something trivial to this operation.

"Robin, how do you want to handle this?" she asked, her eyes still on the bank. "Should we leave up to them and see what happens?"

Robin looked at the screen as the rest of the team, plus one, assembled behind him, Darkbrand just behind and next to him, looking over the situation as well, their short conversation the had transpired just before before Blaze and Jetta's arrival being little more than confirming the information the police had sent them, and picking a high point to over see everything from...


Glancing over his shoulder for a moment, he looked at Blaze and Jetta, Darkbrand in his peripheral vision, and he realized that other than sizes, colors and some obvious details, they all had the same basic costumed uniform, Jetta's revealing black and silver trimmed get up being the most extreme variation, and Blaze's straightforward gray, navy and black the most basic.

But aesthetics aside, he at last let his eyes rest on Jetta, the current X factor other than where the hostages where.
He could, and should fix one of the two major variables now.

"Not a bad plan, Darkbrand I'm guessing you've already set up a no flame zone, but you're sitting this out rookie," he turned at the waist and pointed to Jetta, then looked at Blaze; "An you're going in the front with me, I need your speed in the open and out front since that's the most likely place for them to put the hostages, DB, you'll cover the back, since I'm guessing the getaway vehicle is back there, from the absence of any thing other than police cars out front, watch the west end of the alley, the east is too narrow for anything larger than a midsized car, and I'm betting on a van, the Central bank just got it's monthly shipment of fresh money, Bills and Coins, so this is an in bulk hit."

He looked out over the Bank again then stepped back closing his COM-unit and slipping it back onto his belt as he turned and faced them; "Questions?"

Her jaw dropped as Robin told her to sit this one out. Was he kidding her? No. There was no way no how she was sitting out on this. Its her JOB god dammit!. Crossing her arms tightly, she took a more powerful stance. Looking from each person, she raised an eyebrow. fuming. She had no patience for this. then,looking over to Tim, she sighed, her face, though hidden, an obvious angry look attached to it. "Tim, your wasting everyone's time, Go and play house with Olivia, get started having your small litter of children, I don't care, leave this to the committed heroes" She looked him over, then went for her next target.

The raven haired girl was next. She did nothing directly to piss off Grace, yet, but she sensed nothing she liked about her. Shifting her weight, she looked Violet over, and scoffed. "Its a real shame you and Starfire didn't work out." She then turned on her heels, facing the building. "Now if you excuse me, I'm going to save the day, you guys can continue your knitting circle". Taking a running start, she sprinted, and lept off the building, turning into a bird mid leap. She landed on the top of bank roof,turning into a spider and down the door, where she made her way stealthy.

Blaze looked from one Titan to the other as they spoke, his unmasked face set in a thoughtful mood, as he glanced to the bank, and then again to his teammates, but at Robin's instructions, he blinked slightly and shot a puzzled glance to Darkbrand and then Jetta before his eyes fell on Robin; "What? But, Robin, it's her plan... Why?"

But before his inquiry could be answered, Jetta popped off some comment about Tim and Olivia playing in the safe house, and a litter... A litter? Of what? Did Olivia buy some puppy's? Children? Did Tim go and adopt a bunch more homeless kids and leave them with Olivia and Ruby? Alone? What?!?

Then she spoke to Darkband, and that made Will snap his head over to face her, his now almost ever present "Huh?" head tilt activating instantly as Jetta ran off, his steely blue eyes squinting in total and utter confusion as he sized Violet up...

"Wait... You've already met Starfire? When? Where?" he murmured before he paused and tilted his head the other way and his eyes widened slightly as he caught what Grace had meant, his brow arching slightly as he leaned back then looked off as she morphed into a spider, his eyes going back to his girlfriend, "Huh? Eh... Hmm... Nahh..." he at last said as he shrugged and then turned and walked to the edge and took a breath before calling out over his shoulder; "She's goin' for it, Robin?" he asked as he crouched on the very edge, his legs bent and his eyes glowing, waiting for the go signal from his leader...

"Cette fichue comédienne," Violet growled, rolling her eyes. "Maybe someone oughta follow and make sure she doesn't get herself killed."

Her tone was dry and expressionless, which was how she got when someone she didn't like was annoying her. It was a habit common to most who spoke other languages; she always swore in French. On the plus side, that meant that half of the time, people didn't even realize that she was swearing. Unless Robin secretly spoke French, Will would be the only one who understood what she was saying. Even then, the saying was colloquial. Even if someone spoke French, they wouldn't understand it unless they had ever lived among French people.

Violet had caught the sizing up, and her conclusion wasn't anything that boded well for her mood. Plus the stupidity that it took to run into a building on one's own and contradicting her team just to prove a point... The new girl wasn't doing herself any favors, whether in personal opinion or in building trust. It was this kind of arrogance and lack of forethought that was weeded out through the human version of natural selection when the environment was harsh, as it was here. How could she possibly have become a leader of the Titans if she was this impulsive and distracted by trivial nonsense?

Robin scowled in such a way that would have blistered paint, but then he blushed almost as read as his armored tunic before the girl charged off with a parting shot that caused him to do a covert double take, before he slowly stalked to the edge next to Blaze and watched as well, before looked over his shoulder at Darkbrand and nodded in agreement, his hand gently resting on Blaze's solid wide shoulder; "Go."

He then pulled a grapple from his belt and then jerked his head at the bank building; "ne l'encouragez pas à satisfaire, elle l'a probablement des sens de pères aussi bien..." he then glanced at his remaining Teammate and smirked slightly; "I spent a spring semester in Orleans and the following summer in and around Paris... C'mon, looks like we have the back alley."


And with that he fired the grapple line at a towering building behind the bank and then hit the retract button as he jumped down and swung away, knowing that Violet would follow right behind in her own way...

Staying small, she descended down the steps as a spider. going quickly, and leaving her white silk web as she went down to safe room. From being a spider, she transformed into a fly, her small white body ideal for sneaking around and scoping out the scene. She saw five men, four of which being the perps, and one being the bank manager, She eyed them all, while flying around them, Finally, as they cracked the safe, and the bank manager was pushed to the side. Jetta knew this was where she had to mobilize. suddenly, morphing into a large white octopus, she let her tentacles tangle around each of the four guys, wrapping them up tight. Her tentacles bringing them up, then thrashing them down on the tile floor. Her anger making her more fierce and vicious.

At Robin's order to go, Blaze sprang from his perch and sailed across the street, a slight smirk on his lips as he morphed mid-flight, the meaning, if not the words Violet had muttered not lost on him, as he landed just short of the stairs, his senses feeling Darkbrands barrier, his mind finding the door that let him light his fists on fire, and as he lowered his shoulder and charged the large by huge door, he could hear the suddenly startled cries of men being smacked about like punching bags...


Bursting through the door, Blaze gave the already startled hostages and goons an even bigger fright, as the tables chairs and random trash cans that had barricaded the door went flying into the empty parts of the lobby, the goons guarding the patrons spinning about and clicking their guns that now didn't work at him, the bit of smoke and dust from the sudden removal of the doors just starting to clear as Blaze stood there looking at the dozen or so "guards" that stood there clicking away until more than one of the men stopped and smacked his gun a few times, pulled the Magazine, and checked it, then cleared the chamber and tried again.

"Sorry, but un licensed firearms are not permitted inside financial institutions per county and state law and Jump City ordnance 22-R-ZFR-5-B..."
He then smirked as he lifted his blazing fists up into clear view, which caused most of the men to pale, even as a few of the soon to be freed hostages groaned at his punchline; "Fire hands however..."

The guns all started to clatter to the floor as the handles suddenly got too hot to hold, Blaze's eyes glowing brightly as he lept into the middle of the biggest gathering of bank robbers, the rest staring at the sudden and violent fight that had broken out before they joined in the thrashing of their numbers...

"Let her overhear," Violet scoffed, not checking her volume. "She's being self-centered and foolish. If she can't realize it on her own, someone ought to tell her."

Still, she followed his instruction, carefully maintaining the no-flame zone as they moved. Even if Jetta was neglecting her senses, Violet would do her best to ensure the safety of her friends. It wouldn't be a good idea to teleport while attempting to hold down a no-flame zone, so she flew instead, a burning lavender trail in the sky marking her progress through the sky as she took off, fading as she focused on lessening the light output. She landed just behind Robin, keeping her balance with the ease of practice. Turned out that Robin was partly correct. There was back-up in the rear valley, but there was no sign of a vehicle.

It was easy enough to disable these hired guns, and Violet dispatched one with a jab to the auxillary nerve, pulling up his arm as he turned to point his weapon at them, and jabbing the spot just shy of his armpit. He stiffened and dropped, paralyzed and knocked out by the strike. It was a skill that was taught in ninjitsu training, but one had to be very careful when using it. If she hit him in the wrong spot, or too hard, it could stop his heart. Fortunately, she knew what she was doing. Besides, the alternative would be more painful for him when he woke up. With this method, he would just be a bit numb in the arm.

Robin did and mental eye roll, since it was fast becoming clear that he would have to play fireman for a bit until he could iron out some kind of truce between the two girls, and for a moment he almost laughed when he realized that once Raven got back, she and Darkbrand would likely hit it off, because they had plenty of similar traits...

Still, that was later, and now there where robbers to deal with.

Following his landing near the alley, Robin moved around and then struck the first goon from behind, knocking him senseless, as Darkbrand took another out, the last goon getting himself zapped by a shock disk before the two heroes slipped int the back, and found themselves in the darkened access hall, the sound of a vault door being opened and then the sudden uproar of a fight.

"Hard and fast." He said to Darkbrand as he palmed some shock disks and charged into the next room...

This was not how he liked to do these things, but it seemed to be a growing trend in how things got done, now didn't it?

Jumping as Will crashed through, she transformed back into a teen, a confused smug look on her face. Was he actually stealing HER mission? What the hell kind of a blip was that. Obviously Tim had hit his head on something hard not to realize that she was the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be. As one of the men attempted to jog out of there with a duffel bag full of cash, she went into action, catching up with him, she licked her lips, and attepted the flight or fight mode... the art of seduction.

"Hey big boy" Jetta said,playing with the little curls that fell out of her hood. "Whats a guy like you working on a team for?" The man wasmade of conciderable muscle size, and looked like he had been jacking sterroids for a little bit too long. She pouted her lips as she angled her body just right and started to flirt. After a minute or two of her giggling and doting on him, The robber attempted to touch her his hand going on to her hip and slowly attempting to reach around and grabbed her perfectly formed...

Kneeing him in his manhood, Jetta snapped, Hook line and sinker her thoughts sang at her as she worked him over, Getting him onto his side, she took a running start at his face then attempted to just tear him apart, knee to the gut, and anything else she could think of.

Dusting his hands off, and extunuishing the flames that had formed on them, the lot of the thugs now out cold, and the people safe...

However at Jetta's visouse attack on the largest of the thugs, Blaze had to step in and push the man away as he was turning to a bloody pulp under her fast and hard attacks in all the right, and wrong places, one of her blows grazing his cheek as he held his hands up to try and calm the seemingly wild girl; "Whoa whoa wait! Jetta STOP!" He said to her just before her foot connected with him between the legs, a solid "thunk" sounding before Will's eyes bulged out and he yelped like a... Well, like a kicked dog and then fell to his knees, his jaw slack as he tried to ask why she had done that, but only a soft gasping sould would come out of his flapping lips, his eyes wide open and glowing before he at last wheezed out; "Ooooouuuuuuccchhhhhh..."


Now THAT hurt!

Racing after the team leader, her glowing eyes examined the rooms as they passed, searching for threats. There didn't seem to be a lot of resistance, and she couldn't help but wonder where all of the bank guards were. This bank was pretty central, so there was a safe bet that numerous guards would have been on the grounds. By now, they were either incapacitated or hostages, as much as the civilians. If not, there was a chance that this was an inside job. She couldn't rule it out, but there was not much evidence for that being the case.

She could feel Blaze's inner flame almost as easily as her own, and since the poison incident, she was able to sense even minor fluctuations. She suspected it had something to do with his empathetic abilities, but there was no way of knowing for sure. Through the link, she sensed a strange fluctuation, and though she didn't know what had happened, she had to wince. He didn't seem terribly upset from what she could tell, but he was in pain. It worried her a little, but he wasn't the type to be killed in a situation as minor as this. But Jetta... she knew nothing about the girl.

"What does the sensor show?" she asked, forcing herself to focus. "Does it still say the same thing?"

She knew that there should only be three left, but it wasn't usually her way to trust technology to do all the work. The sensors were not something she would trust on something so important, no matter how advanced they were.

Robin paused for a moment at a corner, then a split second after she asked her question, he spin and lashed out, striking the last thug square in the throat with a loose handed judo chop, stopping him cold in his tracks, and leaving him open for a double shot to the ears, a blow to the solar plexus, and a follow up to his left knee, the masked gun wielding goon now an ear ringing, knee throbbing, shocked mess laying knocked out in the floor.

Kicking the gun away in such a manner as to also release the clip, sending it skittering off down another hallway, Robin kept his momentum moving forward, flipping his unit out and activating the search mode, he then barely turned his head and replied; "It's reading all clear until we get to the main conference room, at the end of this hall, where we have four unidentified life-signs and a wall breach into the Bank presidents' office..."

They walked past an open office door where a stack of four security guards laid, blood stains and pools telling the tail of dead men, who would never tell anyone anything in their own voices again.


Stalking past without stopping, Robin lowered his head slightly, as the white semi-solid lenses in his domino mask turned to soulless slits rather than large blank eyes, his brow furrowed in anger, he palmed a few disks in each hand, shockers in his right, freezers in his left, and that dark, blistering scowl on his face...
