Violet smiled her vague but warm Mona Lisa smile, but said nothing before she turned and left the room, book in hand.
As useful as parkour was to her, it had become something less vital to her now that she was developing her teleportation technique and working on her sustained flight capabilities. Even so, parkour had practical applications in most situations, particularly ones in which using powers wasn't a feasible option. Plus, it was something that she enjoyed, moreso than fighting training. There was something that set it apart from the rest of her training, perhaps that it wasn't training in preparation for violence, and that it was something that she was good at that didn't involve hurting people. As much as she enjoyed being a Titan and protecting people, sometimes a more peaceful pasttime was preferable.
She headed back to her room and pulled her hair back with a simple black hairband, her mind anywhere but on the parkour training. Actually, it was more fixated on Will, and for once she let herself dwell on him. She had to admit that she didn't know when she'd first loved him. It seemed so natural to her now, it was hard to imagine when she hadn't.
But she knew why she loved him. His enthusiasm contrasted with and complemented her moderate personality, not to mention how cute it was when his eyes lit up in excitement. She loved his sense of humor. She loved how sweet he could be. But as much as any of those things, she loved his heart. And of course, she'd hardly have been a teenaged girl if she didn't find him physically attractive as well, and didn't admire how powerful he was. She could see so much of his potential, so much of what he could be. And what he already was, she loved.
She blinked out of her thoughts and bent to tighten the laces of her shoes before she stood and headed downstairs to meet his so that they could leave.
