Glancing after Violet as she turned to leave, Will gave John a last once over then moved to follow, a last word spilling from his lips; "If nothing else, think about what you yourself told us; Every time you think you're safe, they find you... So that begs the question; what happens when you run outta road?"
And with that he was gone, out the door and following Violet into the back alleys so as not to draw any undue attention to the underground clinic.
After a few minuets of quietly walking, Will sighed in frustration as he voiced his churning thoughts; "There has to be some sort of pattern we're not seeing, something big, so big we can't hope to see it with our current perspective... With the amount of money and influence that must be at work keeping this under the radar, something big must be stirring the whole pot, very carefully, very quietly, and anything that big or powerful, will leave SOME sort of trail..."
It stood to reason, that if things kept going the way they where, either the game would be up for who or whatever was running or funding or signing off on these labs, or it would be legalized, or persons with powers would be outlawed and sent "away", in which neither outcome would bode very well for a good number of people.

"Probably," she agreed, her voice soft out of habit. "But whoever is doing this has gone to great lengths to keep things quiet. They won't be easy to track down. At this point, all we're doing is waiting for something to happen, and that is not enough."
Deep in thought, she was unconsciously reverting to the patterns of movement she had used in past days when she had moved through dark alleys with frequency. Her footfalls were silent, her voice barely above a whisper, not echoing on the artificial canyons around them. She stayed to the shadows, moving like a phantom and virtually invisible more often than not, though it was entirely unintentional. Her eyes were distant as she thought, with her movements too smooth to seem mechanical, but with the same efficient sense of purpose. She hadn't been called a Shadow for nothing.
"For now," she continued, her voice still quiet, "we need to report to Robin and decide on the next step. The doctor seems more than willing to help us with information, and I think that John might do the same, if he has the time to think about it."
The Titans certainly wouldn't stand by and let the greedy and selfish people behind this nonsense do as they pleased. For Violet, the issue was personal, since they had collected her once before.
