Will looked at Violet a moment and blinked some more before clearing his throat and shifting into a more upright position; "Wings? Really? Wow... I'm, really... I have no clue honestly but..." he paused and shook his head some, then looked back at her and then leaned in and kissed her softly, before he laughed; "I'm sorry, really I am, I was just... We wouldn't have lasted much longer fighting like we where... If the others had been here maybe but alone, the four of us? Not much of a chance."
A trace of worry lit his features for a moment before he smiled again and then worked his way back to his feet, his gaze falling to his suit and the mess it was in. "Hmm... Well at I'm still mostly decent, you're okay, as are the others, and the city and the people... So other than having cracked every bone in my hand and draining most of my power in one shot, I think everything's good... Don't... You?" Letting out a wide yawn, Will shook his head and smiled again, dark circles forming under his eyes as he stood there and then blinked slowly, his smile growing content and lazy as the stress and expenditure caught up with him quickly, more yawns and pleas for pardon at his manners following him up until he stumbled off and sat on a damaged car, and then flopped over sound asleep...
Looking to Aria for a moment, Tim then watched as Will and Violet interacted in the crater, then he sighed and nodded at them as Will stood up, then walked over to a wrecked car, sat down, and fell asleep.
"Figures he would take a nap now..." Tim jokingly murmured as he walked towards the now asleep hero, shaking his head with a smirk made almost comical thanks to his mask.
"Care for a hand lugging the big guy home?" He asked as he pulled out his COM-unit and pushed a few buttons on it, activating the spare T-Car's auto guidance system.
"Or how about at least to the corner over there?" he pointed to the intersection where he had instructed the T-Car to drive to to pick them all up...

Violet's muscles protested, but she stood and climbed out of the crater after him, the new glass cracking under her feet. She went to him and stood beside the car, looking up at Robin as he approached. The habitual indifference was back on her face, the mask returned from where it went when she talked to Will. Although Tim was her friend, the only person she ever really showed her emotions was Will, and her face revealed little to Robin until she looked back down at Will's face. There was soft concern in her eyes, as well as a touch of affection. She turned back to Robin and nodded.
"His inner flame is stable," she reported. "He just needs a bit of sleep."
She examined the team leader with a single practiced glance, taking note of his injuries. None of them were bleeding particularly badly, but the number of wounds was about equal to her own. He would be fine. She returned her gaze to Will and then pulled him up from the car with Robin's help, supporting half of his weight, which was a bit difficult, given how tired she was. They carefully put him in the T-car, and Violet could feel through the link that his sleep was deep enough that he wouldn't be awoken by their maneuvering. He had a right to be exhausted. It would've been strange if he wasn't.
"Robin, you said that these demons are from Trigon, didn't you?" she said, looking at him with thoughtful eyes. "Why would Trigon send an army of demons to do nothing but destroy the city? There had to be some objective that we're missing. I don't like this."

Aria followed as the Titans moved Blaze to the T-car, her leaden arms not allowing her to help them. Instead, she watched as the city came out of hiding, their eyes wide as the took in the scene of destruction around them. She couldn't tell whether or not they were pleased or horrified, as the chaos was wide-spread and considerable. They had made the city safe again, but it would be a while before these people could put it out of their memories, as the reminders, the scars of the battle, would be around for a long while. She could hear their elevated heartbeats as they came around, seeing for the first time what the Titans had wrought. She could hear their murmurs, the whispered doubts.
It was clear that the citizens were afraid, and Aria didn't know whether they were frightened of the demons, or of the Titans themselves... She would have to see what she could do to pacify them in the time to come. The guardians of Jump City needed to have trust in the people they protected, or the evacuations wouldn't go smoothly, the interactions between them and the police could get strained, and the Justice League would probably step in. It seemed like they needed to build some trust. Maybe there was something she could do to help with public relations in the future?
Pushing the thoughts aside, she sighed and slipped into the T-car, waiting while Violet and Robin paused to consider the situation. She glanced back at Will. He looked as tired as she felt.

In a deep and restful sleep, without dreams, Will felt such a peace that he could also feel his fire growing again, restoring itself, and slowly building up his strength once more, but also in that state, he could feel two points of power in his back, almost bubbling up in a way, but no, they where more like to hard points of light, anchors almost, as if he had grown some sort of extension to himself...
Wings she had said, and his mother had been honored by his actions this day...
As they hefted Blaze into the back seat, and then all sat in the T-Car, Robin listened to Darbrand's observations and nodded slowly in agreement; "I know, that's what bugs me about this... as far as we've known, all Trigon wants to do is control and rule the world, and everyone in it, not destroy it all, its counter to his wish for power, after all why rule what's really not there?"
As he drove them towards the Tower he set his jaw, and thought about it some more, a dark shadow crossing over his face as he saw something on the side of the street, some person in a long dark trench coat and a hat.
Something about the way that person moved, their walk, it was... It wasn't right somehow.
As he slowed for the red light ahead, Robin suddenly slammed the brakes on as the person darted out in front of the large white and blue T-Car, a sickening "THUMP!" sounding just as the massive breaks and extra wide tires griped the car to a stop, Robin's masked eyes wide before the person stood up and looked at them...
It was a Slade Commando!
Bursting from the car Robin pulled his staff and swung at the bot as fast as his tired limbs could manage, but the bot didn't dodge or counter, instead it took the blow full on and fell onto its back with a clanging that rung in the almost deserted streets before it's face place retracted and Slade's face flickered to life on the smallish screen...

"Attacking the messenger? Really Robin, I thought as professionals we could observe the decorum befitting us..."
His voice projected over from a small speaker built into the robot could never fully convey all of his emotional void, but it did the job, just as that little experiment he had tried had, to much better than expected results in fact.
Raising his hand up and touching his fingertips to themselves, he arched his fingers and tilted his head down slightly as he stared at the small red light that told him where the camera was, his voice still even, smooth, and clear; "I hope this little outing of yours has shown you that you really are in need of all your friends this time Robin, I may not have the star power the Brotherhood once had, but as you well know, I don't exactly have the best history when it comes to playing well with others, our last arrangement aside, still I wonder, could you and your friends withstand an assault from me and my forces in your current state? Now even?"
Slade gave Robin a moment to digest that thought, before he chuckled lowly and spoke one last time; "But no, sadly fate has dealt you a favor today, as I'm not willing to commit myself to such an offensive yet... Prepare you're troops General, muster the reserves and call up the old hands! Because I'm coming to finish a job, and to claim what should rightfully be mine... The only real question that is left is... Are you really ready Robin?"
The screen held the image of his mask, leaned into the closeup for a few seconds before it went blank and the robot sputtered and crackled with overloading batteries that caused it to belch smoke in a tiny muted explosion, sparks fizzing out onto the street where it lay...
