Olivia smiled, looking over to Violet. Carefully trying to handle Ruby, and have a conversation. “It’s funny actually. Once you get used to it, It just comes from within. Like, I could be on my deathbed, and Ruby could need something, I’d give it my all to help her. It doesn’t matter what happens to me, as long as she is safe, and happy, Its all ok. “Olivia gave Ruby a kiss on the forehead, as the little girl stuck her finger up her nose, while waving her other hand around the room. Olivia lifted her up, making a face that showed her pain, and then liberated her hurt Shoulder of the tot, moving her to the casted arm. “Vi, once your done with that, sit, relax. You’re not the maid here,” Olivia went to the fruit bowl, and pulled a perfectly ripe banana from the bowl, cooling it very slightly with her hand, and then getting to the couch, placing Ruby next to her, and started to peel the banana. “How are things? How’s Will?” The blond just wanted to get some food in Ruby’s belly, and get some chores done. Was it that hard to be single mom slash housewife in this big house?

Violet shrugged at Olivia's order, but sat back down nevertheless. The relatively new furniture was comfortable despite their usual lack of use, and she breathed a slow sigh as she sat down, glancing out the window out of diligent habit. She often felt fidgety when she was on duty but doing nothing particularly useful. While the safehouse needed to be guarded, Violet couldn't help but feel like she should be out on patrol somewhere, or with Will, where she could do more than wait for trouble to find them.
"Things are going fairly well," Violet replied. "He's having a bit of a hard time right now, with all that's happened, but he's doing well, all things considered."
She wouldn't violate his confidence, but as Olivia was an old friend of his, she probably knew something of the situation, maybe even all of it.
