Violet nodded and walked to the curb to hail a cab. When one finally arrived, she quickly examined the interior of the small cab, along with the driver. It was a typical taxi; not spectacular, but decent enough. The driver looked about 35, but she didn't notice anything suspicious about him. She could usually tell such things, but she would keep an eye on him, just in case. Looking back up at Olivia, she gestured with one hand for she and Ruby to get in. While cabs weren't exactly luxurious, it would be less nervewracking than riding the bus. There were fewer people to worry about.
"I'll eat after Olivia and Ruby are settled," she told Will. "See you later."
She had her own meager fund which, believe it or not, was close to the most money she had ever had in her possession. She would use it to pay for the cab. She thought little of it. Money didn't mean much to her if she already had enough food to eat and a safe place to sleep. That was all that she had ever used it for previously anyway. Olivia probably shared her sentiments. "Want" didn't enter the equation when "need" still wasn't met.

Will blinked slightly, mildly confused, he was sure it was Olivia that like that kind of Pizza, or was it his mom, or Destiny? It was a sudden and embarrassing gray spot for him, but at this point it didn't seem to be a big deal...
For the girls that is, but for Will it was an open door for a flood of self doubt, but he didn't let it bother him too much as Violet explained her plan to him and Olivia, to which he nodded slowly and replied; "Hmm... Okay, I'm going to go get some food and other necessity's at the store then... I'll be there shortly I think."
His own income wasn't excessive, at least it would not have been for most, but for Will, who hardly had spent more than twenty dollars in total of all three of his checks thus far, the cost was nothing more than an act of kindness for a friend, and that's what kept him steady as he walked the isles of the grocery store he had picked, a basket with some simple items, namely fruit and vegetables and some chicken fish wrapped in their plastic and foam packages, a loaf of wheat bread and a jug of 2% milk, along with some pasta and sauce, and a carton of eggs the final roll call of items he had gathered, then paid for to be delivered, as he rode Violet's motorcycle to the safe house...
