"SMACK!"
"Ugh, bleh, okay..." Will said as he shook his head some, the whips handle having smacked him in the face since he had been watching Catwoman more than the whip itself when he had pulled, not that it hurt that much, but it was still an object smacking him in the face.
He spun his arm about and coiled the whip up single-handedly before he started to circle to his right, his smile still on his lips as he watched her move.
Okay, so she had countered his counter to her advantage, no big deal, he would just have to lean on his speed a bit to keep her from getting the upper hand.
He had fought Violet and she was highly agile, so he counted that as practice for this new challenge, however he had noted that Catwoman was a bit more nimble than Vi, which was saying something, but then, while not as flexible as either one, Will knew that he was highly mobile, so it could likely come down to who made the fewest mistakes.
"Hmm, but you forget, I'm an Angelic Werewolf, the angel part of me has to hold some form of distraction, right?" As if to drive that point home, there was suddenly a bright flash of light between them, Blaze's powers over that form of energy manifesting for the first time in front of this woman...
"Well, Angel, I don't consider any part of you a distraction," she chuckled. "You're the game itself."
Catwoman's instincts told her that the level of danger had just risen, and she didn't like where the encounter was going. Her hair stood on end, and she backflipped into a short series of back handsprings to gain some distance. Her stance was more wary now, though the confidence hadn't dropped an iota. Like most cats, she could embrace either the fight or flight without apology. Her confidence could more be described as a way of saying, "I'm prepared to fight if I have to." She might be scared and she might run away, but if she would fight if she was forced to.
"Why don't you tell me what it is you're after, Blaze," she inquired, unnerved but not showing it in the least.
If she had to leave without the whip, she would. She could always get another, and it wasn't as if her fingerprints were on it. She always wore gloves when she handled it. However, she still wanted to stick around to learn more about this wolf. He would likely become a frequent obstacle, and there was no way she would run away every time she saw him. Her pride rebelled against the idea. However, she wasn't sure whether or not to stay this time. It made more sense to see what he could do and figure out a strategy somewhere safer.

Will smirked at her then laughed; "Haha, I've been called many things kitty-kat, but never a game."
He was impressed with her speed and agility when this had started, but now he was almost envious at how nimble she was, her motions fluid and sure-footed, much like his own, they carried the deadly grace of a top predator, mixed with the deliberate yet simple ease of a human. Blaze had to admit, she was a sight to see, moving like that, almost like melting butter on a waffle personified...
He tilted his head at her then shook it, as if she had asked a truly silly question; "Heh, I thought that was obvious."
"CRACK-BOOM!"
With a skill he honestly didn't know he possessed, Will had stepped forward, flicked his wrist and wrapped the end of the whip around the bottom of the bag and had pulled it taught, the sack at least starting to strain at all the force that was being exerted upon its seams.
"The stuff you took, all I want is to give it back to the rightful owners... Or if you're enjoying the game, you can be a good girl and take it all back, and we can keep dancing, as I rather enjoy this myself, in all honesty." HE gave a slight tug on the whip, to urge her towers him, his stance suddenly shifting into a very neutral and relaxed pose, back to standing straight and easy, his right arm extended with the whip in hand, a knowing smirk on his face.
This really waskinda fun, like when he and Violet where testing their powers on the lighter and candles, only rather than testing his powers, he was testing his prowess, and like all young guys, he enjoyed testing himself, pushing his limits, over and over.
Add in a pretty girl to show off for and talk to, and well, he was having more fun then some might consider legal...

"I'll tell you what," Catwoman said with an alluring smile. "If you can pin me for ten seconds in the next two minutes, I'll return the jewels. If not, I keep them."
Pinning a cat that didn't want to be pinned was about as easy as strangling jello. It always squeezed out from between one's fingers so that you couldn't get a grip. Strength and speed weren't enough. One had to have the agility, of body and of mind. Generally speaking, the cat had to be willing to be caught as well. Especially if it had human intelligence. Of course, she didn't know how dirty he was willing to play, so she would have to keep an eye on the jewels as well. In actually, she was quite curious to see if he would take an offer like that.
"What, don't think you can do it?" she teased.
She knew how that would rub him. That was entirely the point.
She caught the whip along its length to slacken its hold and freed the bag from its grip before she released it. She knew the ins and outs of using a whip. Its grip had certain weaknesses which she could exploit quite easily. Even if he had the ability to use the whip, it still wasn't all that much of an advantage against her.

Will tilted his head to the side and shook his head again, his smile ironic as he looked off to the side for a moment, and dropped the whip lightly.
Could he really do it?
He wasn't sure, she was amazingly agile and flexible, and her reactions where top notch, and while he knew he could out power and speed her, he also knew that was like having all but one of the numbers for a combination lock, close was close, but it wasn't close enough.
"Hmm, I wasn't born yesterday, and while under other circumstances I'd be all for it, I highly doubt my compensation for action check will cover the losses of the three houses you swiped all that from." He eyed her with a slightly hungry but mostly knowing and playful smile, his eyes glowing brightly for a moment before he stepped closer, all the way up to her until he was but a short ten inches from her, looking down at her, his thumbs hooked into the back pockets of his jumpsuit, stretching the garment tight across his chest and shoulders.
Twisting his lips up slightly, he hummed to himself a moment then clicked his tongue while his lips pressed into an impish grin; "However, ten seconds in five minuets seems much more reasonable, no?"
He tilted his head the other way and arched his eyebrows, his smirk growing as his eyes sparkled at an idea; "Or conversely, if you pin me, I'll not only let you go, this one time, but I'll even deny I even saw you, however, if I do pin you for more than ten seconds, you not only have to return the items, but give me your number. Stakes high enough now?" He gave her a wink, playing up this little bluff of his nicely, after all, he just wanted the bag or rather what was in it, she was pretty and all, and interesting, but he really wasn't looking for a romantic or even just a physical romp-a-round game (not that he'd had any of the latter that is, but still) he was just looking at getting the stuff back to who owned it. If he had to humor this goofy sexy acrobat in cat themed leather, then fine.
She smiled wryly. His first words told her everything she needed to know. He was still thinking "big-picture". He wasn't falling for it, so she would have to resort to Plan B. She was aware that he was going to bluff his way out. He wasn't going to let her get away with all of those jewels, so he would use the contest the snatch them away from her. However, he still had her whip, and she still wanted it. She wouldn't run off immediately. She would play with him a bit, and hopefully still get everything she wanted.
"I'm not actually listed," she said, elusive as ever.
Dropping the bag, she kicked it out of sight before walking the last few steps to look into his face. Her hand rested on his abs, but she didn't dig her claws in. Her dark eyes were teasing as she breathed in his heady scent. There was a very woodsey smell beneath the wolf-stink. Her other hand swept down his bicep lightly. While it might've seemed sensual, it was a way to make sure she knew if he was about to move. The muscles always tensed before someone moved.
"But you're on," she whispered.
The bag rested on the balcony of the building, three stories down.

Will looked down to her and let his lips twitch; she had stashed the bag somewhere, and while he had a good idea as to where, he guessed that she would not let him get to it very easy, if he made a play for it.
So it was time to turn that bluff into a legit offer and challenge.
"Hmm, oddly enough, neither am I..." he replied as he felt his body heat suddenly rise at her touch, which was so light, yet so impactful all at the same time. A surge of manliness seemed to resonate through his body as he stared into her dark chocolate eyes, his skin tingling under her finger tips and the fabric of his jump suit.
Tilting his head down slightly, as if to slowly kiss her, he then went perfectly limp, collapsing back and half turning to his knees before he rotated as swept his legs at hers, one hand planting firmly on the rooftop and pushing him up straight into a single handed stand that turned into a kind of back bend he sued to get a little space between them, the sweet soft and fertile scent of her starting to rattle him, if he thought about it too much, so he distracted himself with a little plotting on how he could pin her, down, and of course, he had a preferred method.
Bending his knees slightly, he suddenly sprung forward his hands reaching out for her middle, his fingers grasping for the straps that seemed to connect her skimpy leather top to her skin tight bottom...
Slipping down between his outstretched hands, she leaned back into a backbend before she kicked off of him and rolled away, landing on her feet. He was nimble, but his moves were still too obvious despite their speed. With a smile, she held up her whip, which she held coiled in her hand. Her light touch had relieved him of it without him even noticing. Replacing it at her side, she stood facing him, her eyes still meeting his own. She wouldn't use it for close hand-to-hand combat. It would restrict her ability to use her hands quickly, and all he needed to win was one extra advantage.
"You didn't think I'd make it that easy, did you?" she asked, tilting her head with a challenging smile.
It was a professional's game; both knew that neither could be trusted at their word. The question was which one would make the move that the other couldn't counter. Which one would grasp the extra half-second needed to gain the advantage over the other? Which one would be the trickster, which would be the tricked? It was pretty even so far. They would both have to be on their toes to fare well in the encounter. Catwoman wanted the jewels and to escape the encounter without going to jail. She was fairly certain that Blaze wanted her to put the jewels back, and to finish the encounter without making police interference necessary.
Psychologically speaking, she had him just where she wanted him. Neither were willing for her to go to jail.

Will tilted his head and popped his neck, her kick off having caught him in the neck and shoulder, his smirk still on his face as they circled some, a soft laugh sounding from his throat; "Oh please, you think I would have agreed to this if I thought you where going to make it easy? Kitten-kat, you would have missed the point."
Okay, she was good, really good, maybe better than Violet, but still, he could take Violet if he could get her to fight on his terms, so why not Catwoman? He would have to find a way to make her come to him, to draw her in so he could contain her, which while necessary to win this bet, seemed rather sad, given her poise and grace, the fluidity of her movements, smooth and sweet like whipped cream... Sorta...
Uh, anyway...
He dashed at her again, but this time faked left and then rolled right, his finger tips brushing across her hip just under the strap that was hooked to it, as he landed and then made another swift grab at her belt...
Her feline eyes caught every movement, every subtle shift in his momentum as he made another attack. After all, a cat's eyes are attracted by motion, rather than color like a human. To hunt, they depended entirely on motion to locate their prey. If their prey were to stand completely still, they would throw off the cat's navigation. His feint, no matter how stealthy, still caused a shift in momentum. If she were to fall for a feint like that, she could hardly call herself Catwoman.
Instead, she leapt into the air, clear over Blaze and his outstretched hands, one foot stepping off of his shoulder to propel the leap further. For most, it would've been an impossible jump, but it was simple for her. The average cat could jump six feet, which is nearly seven times their own height. She couldn't jump seven times her own height, but she could jump at least four, and that was about twenty-one feet. Over a six and a half foot wolf-boy: easily. She somersaulted mid-air and landed a ways behind him, the impact nearly silent. Turning back to look at him again, she allowed herself another smile.
A peripheral glance at the clock in the window of a story on the street told her the time. She would know when the five minutes were up. However, the relevant issue was quickly becoming whether or not she wanted to win or not. Being pinned by this wolf-boy might be almost as enjoyable as getting away with the goods. Besides, she didn't steal for the money. She did it for the challenge and because she was good at it. This was far more challenging and far more fun than petty thievery. She might even have to do it again sometime just so she could tangle with Blaze again...

Rolling and then planting his right foot to stop his momentum, Will huffed slightly as he crouched and then shifted on the balls of his feet, in a stance not unlike hers as he turned and faced her, a mildly annoyed, but still amused look on his face as he replayed what had just happened over in his mind.
Wracking his brain for a moment, he remember that a cat's eyes where drawn to movement, and if she had any cat like abilities, and it seemed she did, then that would mean she could read his movements...
That meant he had to try and distract her so he could get close enough to grab her, and if he could just get a hold of her, he could pin her, and then that was the game, he would win, and she would get her little dance.
"Hmm, quick little thing aren't you?" he mused as he shifted his weight forward then sprung up high and aimed for a spot just behind her, his plan to land, shift his momentum, and keep moving in such a way as to lead her to one conclusion, and then shift as fast as he could and catch her flat footed and unsuspecting. And to aid that, he let his powers trigger a burst of warm air that knocked over an old steel trashcan someone had left up here, the contents, which where glass bottles and tin cans, clattered and smashed with plenty of noise and movement...
"So I'm told," she replied before leaning forward, her knees bent and her fingertips touching the roof.
From the crouch, she jumped sideways, landing on the edge of the roof just as he landed behind where she would have been. The sound startled her, and she jumped into an instinctual defensive posture, her back arched and a hiss breaking through her bared teeth. Overplaying it only slightly, she felt backward off of the roof top and twisted to land on the balcony on all fours, three stories below. Grabbing the jewels swiftly and silently hiding them in a tiny cove under the balcony ledge, she leapt onto the windowsill of the building opposite of them.
Leaping from windowsill to windowsill and climbing easily up a drainpipe, she made it to the roof of the broken down apartment building. The span between the buildings wasn't all that far, maybe ten feet, but the window ledges were only about six inches out from the sheer brick wall. It took all of her own skill to keep her balance climbing up that wall. Anyone larger and less coordinated would be unable to do so. Standing on the ledge nine feet above eye level with Blaze, she was silhouetted by the moonlit sky, and so her actions were easily visible. She extended her hand flitted her fingers toward herself, inviting him to come and continue the confrontation.
She seemed to have recovered from the unexpected loud noise, acting as if she had never allowed the feline instincts to overwhelm her. In combination with the primal human instinct to stay away from loud noise, the strength of the urge had taken her by surprise.

Eyes glowing, Will grunted in frustration and he dashed along the edge of the roof only to watch her vanish over the edge, right where she had dropped the bag, so with a touch off of the roof, he flipped and twisted, following her as fast as he could landing with a bit less grace and silence then her, he saw her climb up, her stunning figure stark against the moon, and so he followed her with a bit more of a direct route, by simply jumping up and pulling himself over the top onto the ledge up near her...
"Hmm, so you surprise but don't scare too easy..." he looked at her then smirked big; "Pause, I have two minuets left Kitten, and I intend to use them." With a wink Blaze back flipped off the ledge and landed on the balcony below where she had hidden the sack, then he hopped up and snatched it before jumping back across the alley a few times, going back and forth until he was back next to her holding the bag firmly in his grip like it was a treat for her.
"How you're about to ask? Well it's simple really, I can hear your heart beat as clear as any doctor could with a stethoscope, only I can do it from across the street if I focus hard, and while I guessed at the spot, I knew the level... but I have two minuets still..." and with that, he tossed the sack back down to the middle of the roof of the lower building across the street, right in the middle of it where they had been just a few short minuets ago...
Reaching up playfully with one finger, he tapped swiftly, and gently her arm before jumping back down three story's to land next to the bag; "Tick Tick Tock Kitten, un-pause!"[/color]
Hmm, okay, this was fun, and while it might be a shade wrong, it wasn't really hurting anyone was it?
Of course not!

"I wasn't, actually," she replied, "but thanks for the explanation anyway."
Stepping up to the ledge, she stayed where she was. She wasn't going to chase him around. Even if he got away with the jewels, it didn't really matter. But she had to keep him on the attack or she would lose her advantage. She knew well enough that there was no chance of her pinning him. The fact was that either he pinned her and she had to return the jewels, or she evaded him for the five minutes and she would have to resort to trickery to get away with the jewels. He had just demonstrated that he wasn't going to run off with the jewels as soon as he got his paws on them, but after the five minutes were up, it would be a free-for-all again.
"Don't run away now, Angel," she teased. "You'll never catch me that way."
She wasn't about to jump back down onto that rooftop. If she let him decide the terms during the fight like that, he would be in the advantage psychologically as well as physically. Her eyes were still on the strange wolf-boy with the interesting powers. She knew he hadn't emptied his bag of tricks quite yet. It was just getting more and more interesting.

Will looked up at her, his eyes glowing with reflected moonlight and pulsing powers, his smile wolfish and playful as he gazed up at her, crouched down low, his legs coiled under him, ready to spring back up.
"Hmm, just thought the prize should be out in the open, as a constant reminder... lets see, what if I put one arm behind my back?" he taunted before launching himself up the full three stories to her level, landing with a soft bump of lightweight boots on bricks confirming his landing.
"Here you pick." He said holding his arms out to her and smiling with an impish grin as he waited for another moment...
