[OOC: Hope the park is ok. If you really think she wouldn't be found here, tell me and I'll change this post. ]
The sun shone dazzlingly, setting a warm ray upon the park bellow. The grass glimmered with the slight dew gathered a while ago when it rained. They slowly danced with the cool breeze, parting as an unhappy green dog padded through. His ears drooped down and so did his moping face while he dragged himself through the park. The weather definitely didn’t correspond with this dog’s mood. The screech of children playing amongst the grass filled the air along with the rather loud barking of other dogs. They were all happy, jumping around as though the park was a trampoline. Even the odd adults and teens were enjoying themselves, though mostly sitting down on a bench, chatting. The green dog was the only unhappy being, standing out more than he normally would have merely with his green pelt.
This was unusual for this green dog, but everyone has their bad days. Now, I think we all know who this dog is. The odd thing is that Beast Boy somewhat resembles a dog. No, I don’t mean look wise. I mean social wise. Dogs tend to like companions, preferring to be around people rather than abandoned somewhere deserted. If left alone, they’ll usually be found moping in lonesome. Well, Beast Boy is exactly like that. He enjoys spending time with his friends much more than he enjoys sitting in his secluded room, boredom ranking its sharp claws through him. When the Titans first met, he was the most eager, trying hard to find new companions. It was a while since he’d left the Doom Patrol, alone for the entire time. This became obvious with his constant effort to get to know the other heroes. Whether that worked or not, the Titans were soon formed Leaving Beast Boy with the grateful impression that he was about to be around people.
Currently, however, he was not.
Not long before he entered the park, he was standing in a deserted hallway situated inside the massive tower he called home. Lately, the Titans had been ignoring him, Well, not ‘ignoring’ per-say. More in the lines of being too busy. It happened sometimes. There were phases where Beast Boy spent hours loosing playing video games with Cybrog, trying to force Raven into a game of Stankball or “America’s newest sensation”, joking with his friends and just being the “Beast Boy” everyone knew. Then there was the phase where nobody had the time. He tries to spend time with his friends, really he does, but they’re all busy with something else. That leaves Beast Boy with the three: he, himself and Beast Boy. In another words: he was alone.
Beast Boy loathed being alone. He always switched on the TV at such times, watching the box for hours on end. Sometimes, they’ll be nothing on and he’ll just switch through the channels aimlessly, a bottle of pop on one hand. No matter how much he loved the TV, it was obvious the social animal wasn’t too happy. He’d just spent who-knows-how-long watching the thing, finally deciding to turn it off. That’s how he found himself standing in the hallway, silence all round him.
“I’m going to go to the park just near here, ok dudes?” He announced, pausing as if waiting for a reply. Silence. “Dudes?” More Silence. If you were to see him, you’ll see his face drooping down gloomily. They probably can’t hear. This tower’s huge. Not that it mattered anyways, they were all too busy. Plus, he believed some of them weren't even in the tower. With that, he left it for the park. The changeling liked the park like, once again, dogs did. He couldn’t place a reason behind his love for it, just that it had that awesome aroma. Perhaps it was the fresh air? Most people would be craving for it after hours of watching TV, but, whatever the reason was, he was soon in the park he liked.
His loneliness had formed a moping dog out of him. When Beast Boy feels an enormous amount of a certain feeling, this time being loneliness, he transforms into a dog. They represent the feeling too. For example, he’d morphed into a hound when he was angry at Terra as opposed to the cute happy one while having fun in their date. With his head down, he padded slowly through the wet grass, ignoring the odd looks people were giving "the green moping dog”. It was then when he thought he saw Robin. Robin? The figure was quite a ways away and he couldn’t be sure, but it certainly looked like him. The dog’s face visibly brightened as he always has a habit of jumping in conclusions. Robin had been quite busy these days [like everyone else]. But, seeing as he was now strolling in the park, his busy days could very well be behind him. Maybe he now had spare time to spend with the changeling.
That meant one thing: he wouldn’t be bored anymore!!!
Remember how I said Beast Boy had a habit of jumping into conclusions? Right, well, that would explain the barking and the dog racing towards the figure. Running pass "Robin", he turned around to face it. This wasn’t Robin. In fact, it was a girl. He mistook a girl for Robin—boy would the Boy Wonder be glad to hear that. He morphed into his normal self, deciding to speak. “Er…sorry. I thought you were someone else.”
