Average in height, and only slightly more built than most men his age and size, Martin is rather plain, yet handsome, with simple brown hair that he keeps short and barely tousled in a neat and almost academic way, the look of being some kind of doctor or professor is topped off by hiding his pale blue eyes with a often worn pair of rounded black wire framed glasses, which are substituted with thicker framed, narrower glasses when he's at any type of social gathering.
His clothing style is basic and relaxed, more often than not a kind of tunic like shirt, a long sleeved shirt or sweater and slacks or loose fitting jeans when he's out and about.
However, as Vorac, he wears almost nothing but black high cut combat boots, dull fatigue style cargo pants, black shirts, matching dull green zipper over shirts, and if he feels a tad flashy, a brown leather jacket.
Personality:
Martin is a very intelligent and well educated man who holds several degrees in language (he speaks ten fluently, as well as reading the major three dead languages [Latin, Ancient Egyptian, and Sumerian] as well as others) chemistry and human history, and is the co-founder of a field of study known as "earthen history" which is the cross-reference and study of geology and archeology, he is also rather plain spoken, and tends to ramble around some in his speech patterns when explaining something, as well as avoiding certain aspects of a subject or topic when he thinks it might be a point of needless conflict.
Which is why he's never been caught; despite his need for knowledge, historical items and personal positions (his Alias "Vorac" is a shortening of the word "Voracious" meaning very hungry or greedy) Martin will not seek conflict unless it directly affects him personally, such as threatening his quest of personal power or simply standing in his way while he is "on task" working for something, what ever it may be.
Doing so will quickly earn you his wrath.
Vorac is a methodical and decisive being, who's sole purpose is to further himself above all others in his quest for knowledge and power, his ultimate goals are hidden in mystery from all but himself.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Strengths:
Fit and agile; While he may not look overly imposing, Martin is plenty strong and nimble, and is an expert swordsman, being the former fencing champion of Grisham University back in Gotham City, as well as holding the current west coast title in three of seven Divisions, this on top of his substantial firearms skills, namely with pistol's and sub-machine guns. He is also a former high school and college freshman cross country runner, and is still able to cover long distances in a reasonably short amount of time.
Weaknesses:
Same as most humans, he can be killed given enough force is applied to him in the right way (bullets, high falls, being crushed or burned Ect.) so he takes precautions such as wearing bullet and energy blast resistant items (his plan green "suit" has high tensile fibers woven into it to help deflect or absorb energy blasts and most small caliber bullets) and by using small remote controlled robots and other gadgets to assist him, but they don't always work.
History:
Since the early 1900's the Taylor family has been at the bottom of the top income bracket, the trading and transport company "Taylor and Son's" being Incorporated in the late 1880's on the east coast, and slowly but surely growing into the Pax-Que conglomerate (which has holdings in countless smaller, and larger firms, such as Cadmus and S.T.A.R. Labs, Lex Corp. and Wayne Industry's) which acts as a halfway house, moderator, and trader between the worlds largest, and most influential businesses, the Taylor family has also had a long history of high academic standing, and it should be noted that this branch of of the Taylor family is related to the historical figure, Zachary Taylor, twelfth President of the United States, and also has had the highest number of family members attend such places of higher learning as Yale, Princeton, Grisham, and Duke, compared to any other family line in the U.S.
This is the family history of Martin Christopher Taylor, a cool and well educated man of 29 years, a mild playboy bachelor who has, devoted much of his time to the furthering of education, and the arts, as well as much charity work, earning him the title of anthropologist, among his peers others of high society.
Little do they know that Martian is the rarely spoken of, and highly feared Vorac, a person known as a high class thug and thief who has ravaged vaults, museums, labs and secure facilities the world over in his quest for rare items and artifacts of great value or power...
Roleplay Example:
Like a large cat, a man in plan flat, drab green clothes, a semi-automatic pistol strapped into a faded black tactical holster, and a well worn pair of combat boots moved along a darkened hallway, a small bag slung over his shoulder, inside a small black hard-shell case, containing a rather ornate brass gauntlet like artifact with sectioned rings attached to it by way of woven brass threads, a round socket in what could be called the palm of the item.
An item that was an alien device of some kind, a device that was missing key components, components that Vorac happened to have "acquired" over the course of the last five years.
He was close to assembling a device that would directly amplify his very thoughts into kinetic force, a powerful tool in his personal quest, one he intended to be using very very soon...
( note I didn't do any dialogue simply because I want the way he speaks, depending on the context, to be a bit of a surprise for everyone, including me xD )
